My name is Gladys, and I’m passionate about sharing my Hispanic cultural knowledge with Latin foods.
I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to New York with my parents when I was seven years old. They worked hard to provide a better life for me and eventually bought a house after living in an apartment for 15 years. I graduated from high school and college, but I still faced challenges in the job market.
Even though I work a 9-5 job I know in my heart there is more to life than getting up every morning to the same drudgery for 19 years. Don’t get me wrong; I am grateful that I have a job that pays my bills; but I know that there is more to life than living and breathing a 9-5 job for almost 20 years. I have an interest in Latin foods not just from Puerto Rico, but from other Latin countries.
That’s why I started this website, to help others who have a similar background or interest in Latin foods. I want to help you find the best places to eat Latin food in Florida, where I live now, and in other parts of the world. I’ll be exploring with you and finding out what other US cities and countries have to offer in terms of Latin cuisines not just in the United States; but all over the world.
I also want to help you start or grow your own Latin food business, whether it’s a small restaurant, a home-based operation, or a food truck/vendor type of business. I want to help you succeed and enjoy the delicious and diverse cuisine dishes of Latin America. 
I will be exploring where you can purchase any foods, or ingredients to get your Latin food businesses rolling. Talk about any permits or legal issues you have to deal with before you venture out into any Latin food business.
